LCDR Carlos G. Font-United States Navy. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology at Tulane University and attended Reserve Officer Training Corps at Pensacola, Florida. Lieutenant Commander Font flew on and off 16 different Aircraft Carriers, including the USS Enterprise. He then was a Top Gun Jet Fighter and Jet Instructor at Miramar, California. Carlos flew with the Blue Angels for two weeks while they filmed a movie. He flew 99 combat missions in Vietnam and various combat support missions from DaNang, South Vietnam in 1968. He served as an Administrative Officer at Roosevelt Roads in Puerto Rico and as Special Liaison to Culebra ultimately retiring in 1973.

He then worked at Therm International from 1979-1986 manufacturing turbine engine blades. He was the Vice President of marketing/sales and traveled extensively for work and had dealings with government officials in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, and Mexico. In 1987 he became associated with an experimental Aircraft Canadian Manufacturing Company which produced the Sewind, Phoenix and Aerocat (All amphibious, composite aircraft.)
