Clayton A, Jensen was born March 30th, 1962 to Richard and Marilyn Jensen. He Volunteered to the Air Force right out of high school on August 27th, 1980, and completed Basic Training in Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Texas. He received military education at Rantoul AFB in Illinois and completed 13 weeks of Missile Mechanic work on Minuteman III nuclear missiles while stationed at SAC, Grand Forks AFB in North Dakota.
Utilizing his military experience and education he went on to pursue a degree in Electronics Advanced RF theory at Indians Hills Community College in Ottumwa, Iowa. He has worked for Rockwell Collins, UTC, Raytheon for over 30 years where his current job title is SR. MEE (Manufacturing Electrical Engineer) of HF COMM IPT Government Systems. His job has allowed him to work with military services (foreign and domestic), Boeing, Airbus, Sikorsky, Bombardier and Gulf stream ect... He has multiple awards and recognition for analytical thinking, team work, integrity, innovation, customer focus, and leadership.
In his spare time, he has carried his love of engineering into building and driving race cars. His passion is racing and during racing season, you will find him at many local race tracks. He received the Frank O'Meara courage award, which is given to one driver a year. The award reads: No one fights alone, Never giving up, Even when the odds are against you, Drive hard to return another day.
