Petty Officer Deborah (Cashin) Miller, enlisted in the U.S. Navy on 12 January 1987 in Des Moines, Iowa. She served with devotion and honor during her 20 year military service. She was stationed in Florida, (USS Lexington), Tennessee, Spain, Sicily, New York, Maine, & Virginia (USS Theodore Roosevelt).

Since her enlistment, Petty Officer (Cashin) Miller has proudly served as an Aviation Support Equipment Technician to include duties as flight deck troubleshooter, supervisor, recruiter, training, quality assurance, divisional leading petty officer, and regional repair center manager.

Medals earned: Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (4th award), Navy Unit Commendation, Meritorious Unit Commendation (2nd award), Good Conduct Medal (5th award), National Defense Service Medal (2nd award), National Defense Service Medal (2nd award), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Navy and Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon (6th award), Coast Guard Special Operations Service Ribbon, Pistol Marksmanship Medal (Expert), and the Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist.
