Donald Duder was born October 2, 1932 in Iowa City, IA. He joined the U.S. Army in 1951. He was stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1953. Donald was married to Aletha Duder. They had three children together. Terri Mullinnix (Gary), LeAnn Gerard (David), and Gary Duder (Barb). Donald was Manager of the Paint Shop at the University of Iowa Hospital retiring in 1978. Donald is a lifetime member of VFW Post 6414 in Riverside, IA and also lifetime member of American Legion Post 0457 in Lone Tree, IA.
