Enoch 'Dick' Wood was born August 16, 1921. He served with Company G of the 361st Infantry; 91st Division as an Infantryman and rifleman/sharpshooter. He landed in Africa in 1942, in Sicily in '43, on the boot of Italy in '43, and finally in Anzio. He was discharged in July of '44 after being severely wounded and returned home to Iowa. He married Mary Wood in 1946 and they had 5 children together near North Liberty, Iowa. He died on Nov 28, 2004.
