Gregory A. Strub served in the United States Air Force from 1971-1992 retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant. His assignments include; Dover AFB Delaware, Ton Son Nhut AB, Republic of South Vietnam, Forbes AFB, Kansas, Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota, King Salmon Airport, Alaska, Anderson AFB Guam, Goodfellow AFB, Texas Osan AB, Korea, and Fairchild AFB, Washington.

He served as a Security Policeman providing airbase ground defense, security for priority resources, nuclear security, physical security, force protection and anti-terrorism. After retirement he served as a Security Administration Specialist for the United States Army, Fort Belvoir, Virginia and for the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency, Joint Forced Command also on Fort Belvoir. Duties there included Force Protection, Physical Security, and Anti-terrorism officer responsibilities for the protection of the Headquarters Complex and for the geographically separated facilities.
