Jerry DeWayne Mitchell was born on February 26th, 1946, to Jess & Mecie Mitchell of Riverside Iowa. He attended Riverside Public School and graduated from Highland High School in 1964.
Jerry served in the United States Air Force in the Communications field and discharged with the rank of Airman First Class in 1967.
After his service in the Air Force, Jerry resided in Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Omaha Nebraska, and Coralville Iowa, all while working, dispatching, truck driving, shipping, and receiving.
Jerry and his wife Linda retired in October of 2013 and now reside in Coralville, Iowa.
