James, John Mr. (Daddy Rock) Saginaw, Michigan was born January 27, 1922 in Kansas City, KS, son of the late Essie and Annie (Nance) James. He came to Saginaw in 1925 and attended Saginaw Public Schools. Rocky was also a Veteran of the U. S. Army. James was a dedicated employee of Evans - Smith Funeral Home for many years. He loved fishing, having friends over and dancing. He leaves to cherish his memory many nieces and nephews that loved him dearly. James passed away February 26, 2007.
