PFC Levi Leland Arnoth Lantz 4/4/1925-7/18/1990 served as a heavy equipment operator in the Army Engineer Corps. He enlisted September 20, 1945 and was honorably discharged as a temporary technician, 4th grade, regular Army April 28, 1947. He last served in the 59th Engineer Construction Company, AP Hill Military Reservation, Port Royal, Virginia. Levi Lantz had married his high school sweetheart, Dorothy, in 1944 and they subsequently raised their family on a Century Farm in Southwest Iowa until his death from lymphoma.
