Tim served his country with distinction as a MedEvac helicopter pilot in both the Active and Reserve Army spanning 20 years from 1970 to 1990.
Tim obtained the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3 during his military career. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross for his heroism and 20 air medals while flying in Vietnam.
