Colonel William A. Font. Born San Juan, Puerto Rico September 18, 1902, passed away December 22, 1995 in Fairfield, Iowa. His final resting place is at Puerto Rico National Cemetery in Bayamon, Puerto Rico along with his wife Fannie Lajara Font. William was a certified Public Accountant and he played professional basketball in the Baloncesto Superior Nacional league thus ultimately being inducted in to the Puerto Rico Basketball Hall of Fame.
