The Iowa River continues to drop at River Junction. River Junction Access has been opened to vehicular traffic, but users are asked to stay on the roadways. Grassy areas remain wet, and vehicles leaving the roadway may cause rutting and disturbance to the turf.
The Board of Supervisors will discuss the draft Johnson County Strategic Plan at a special work session at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24. The discussion will be facilitated by consulting firm BerryDunn, who worked with Johnson County to create the new plan.

River Junction Access is closed until further notice. Staff closed the road on Wednesday evening based on forecast river levels, and it will remain closed until the river levels recede below flood stage and the site can be assessed for damage.
