The 2026 Iowa Caucuses will take place on Monday, February 2 at 7 p.m. Iowa’s recognized political parties, the Democratic Party and the Republican Party, will each hold a caucus.
 
You must be registered with the party whose caucus you attend. You must be registered to vote to participate, but you may register at the caucus site.
 
At the 2026 caucuses, parties will elect delegates and talk about party business.
 
A caucus is not an election. Caucuses are organized and conducted by the political parties. The Auditor’s Office has no official role in the organization or conduct of caucuses, or the reporting of caucus results.
