The General Assistance Program provides  emergency rent and  utility assistance to eligible Johnson County, Iowa residents who have an income and resources less than 30% of the Area Median Income.  The maximum income based on household size -  1 person $2008, 2 person $2296, 3 person $2583, 4 person $2833, 5 person  $3100, 6 person $3497, 7 person $3945, 8 person $4393.
