Heritage Area Agency on Aging helps older adults, family caregivers and adults with disabilities live with dignity and independence in the home they choose. From quick help and information services to long-term, in-depth support, Heritage programs are designed to empower consumers at any stage in the aging process.
Services include: information services, case management, nutrition programs, caregiver support and education, elder abuse prevention and intervention, evidence-based health programs and more.

8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Walk-ins are accepted, but calling ahead is advised as many staff work out in the field with consumers.
Heritage serves older adults ages 60+, caregivers for older adults/adults with neurological disorders and adults ages 18+ with disabilities. Services are available in Johnson County, as well as Benton, Cedar, Iowa, Jones, Linn and Washington counties.
There is no cost for Heritage services. Services are contribution-based, meaning consumers decide if they would like to donate to Heritage for services received. Suggested contribution amounts are available upon request.
