55+ Connections is the series of programs and events available for older adults in North Liberty and Johnson County. There are two weekly programs that meet every Tuesday and every Friday.

55+ Connections: Friday Lunch - Every Friday, the North Liberty Recreation Center hosts a $5 meal, catered by a local restaurant. On the first and third Fridays participants can join in a game of bingo, which is free to play with the chance to win small prizes. On the second and fourth Fridays, participants can stay after lunch for an educational or entertaining presentation from community members and organizations. Registration is required and can be done online or by calling 319-626-5716. Meets in Rec Center Classrooms.

55+ Connections: Tuesday Gathering - Every Tuesday, the North Liberty Library hosts free activities for adults 55 and older. On the first Tuesday, the activity is card and board games. On the second Tuesday, the activity is a craft. On the third Tuesday, the activity is jigsaw puzzles. On the fourth Tuesday, the activity is book club (limited copies of titles available at the library for check out). Fifth Tuesday activities vary. No registration is required for this event. Coffee and light snacks are offered. Meets in Library Meeting Rooms.
