Needed supports and services for individuals with qualifying disabilities are funded in an effort to provide quality of life in the least restrictive environment. Those who qualify for funding and service coordination or case management may have a social worker assigned to help assess what supports and services are necessary.

Eligibility criteria can be found on the MHDS of East Central Region (ECR) website (www.ecriowa.org) for non-Medicaid funded services. Upon completing an ECR application, applicant will be reviewed for qualifying county of residency, qualifying diagnosis, meeting income/ resource limit guidelines, and need for service. Eligibility criteria for Medicaid funded services (HCBS Waivers) can be found on the Johnson County Mental Health & Disability Services website (https://www.johnsoncountyiowa.gov).
