Based on recommendations from the Johnson County Public Health Department (JCPH), the Johnson County Board of Supervisors voted on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021, to require all visitors and Johnson County employees to wear face coverings in all Johnson County government buildings, regardless of vaccination status. The face coverings must cover both nose and mouth.

The face-covering mandate is effective Friday, Aug. 13, 2021, through Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, and is subject to change, pending guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and JCPH.
