Based on recommendations from the Johnson County Public Health Department (JCPH), the Johnson County Board of Supervisors voted on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2022, to extend the requirement for all people to wear face coverings that cover both nose and mouth completely while inside Johnson County buildings
Visitors to Johnson County buildings must wear face coverings while inside Johnson County buildings, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status. All Johnson County government employees are required to wear a face covering while inside Johnson County buildings, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status, unless they are at their desk and socially distanced from others.
The face covering mandate is effective through Sunday, May 15, 2022, and is subject to change, pending guidance from JCPH.
