The Johnson County Board of Supervisors and County Treasurer will hold listening posts during the 2024 Johnson County Fair.

The listening posts will take place in Building B, table five, on the Johnson County Fairgrounds, 3109 Old Hwy 218 S., Iowa City. Community members are encouraged to stop by and meet with Board members and the Treasurer to discuss any Johnson County-related topic. No formal agenda or presentation is planned.

Listening posts will take place the following days and times:

• Sunday, July 21 from 2 to 3 p.m.
• Monday, July 22 from 10 to 11 a.m., noon to 1 p.m., and 2 to 3 p.m.
• Tuesday, July 23 from 10 to 11 a.m., noon to 1 p.m., and 2 to 3 p.m.
• Wednesday, July 24 noon to 2 p.m.

In addition to the listening posts, the County has an information booth at the fair all week, where county staff will be available to discuss various programs and services.
