The Johnson County Board of Supervisors Office will be moving to the third floor of the Health & Human Services Building (HHS Building), 855 S. Dubuque St., Iowa City.
Detailed schedule changes include:
Board of Supervisors Public Meetings: The Wednesday, March 5 Board of Supervisors Work Session will be held in conference room 203 C on the second floor of the HHS building at 9 a.m. The Board of Supervisors Budget Meeting will be held in the same location at 1:30 p.m.
Public parking will be available on the north side of the HHS building. Visitors can enter through the entrance near the flagpole and take the elevator or stairs to the second floor to the conference room.
Board Office staff: Most Board Office staff will be working remotely the day of the move and can be contacted via email. They will return to their new office on the third floor of the HHS Building on Thursday, March 6.
Funding for the remodel project is sourced through a combination of general funds and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) federal funds, with a firm commitment that taxes will not be raised to finance the remodel.
