Weather permitting, F20 (Amana Road NW), between Falcon Ave NW and Cou Falls Road NW, will be closed to traffic starting Monday, April 3, 2023. This location is in northwestern Johnson County. Work includes grading, macadam stone base, and granular surface.

The detour route will utilize Falcon Ave NW, 120th Street NW/F12, and Highway 965 NW/W60.

Access to the Hawkeye Wildlife Shooting Ranges (shotgun/archery and rifle/pistol) will be maintained as much as possible during construction. Access will be from the west at the intersection of Falcon Avenue and Amana Road. Please use caution on Amana Road when traveling to the ranges, as there will be construction traffic traveling from a borrow site behind the shotgun range to the construction zone on Amana Road to the east.

Construction is anticipated to be completed by September 2023. Connolly Construction, Inc. of Peosta, Iowa, is the prime contractor.
