Weather permitting, F46 (American Legion Road SE), between 400th Street and Wapsi Avenue, will be closed to through traffic on Monday, August 12, 2024. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses along this segment of the road. Through traffic should follow the detour route, which will use 400th Street and Wapsi Avenue.
This closure is necessary to replace two road culverts and is anticipated to last 10 days.
Construction elsewhere on the project, between Taft Avenue and Highway 6, will continue using lane closures during the day with flaggers and pilot cars. Please plan for delays and use caution when traveling in the construction zone.
Construction is anticipated to last through November 2024. L.L. Pelling Company, Inc. of North Liberty, Iowa is the prime contractor.
