The Johnson County Empowerment/Early Childhood Iowa Area Board has funds available for programs that provide support to families with children aged 0-5, and pregnant individuals.
Funds are to be used to positively impact children in Johnson County in one of the following areas:
- secure and nurturing early education environments;
- safe, stable, nurturing families and homes;
- healthy children ready to succeed in school.
Anyone providing services to Johnson County families is eligible to apply. Funds are available for contract dates July 1, 2022-June 30, 2023, with a possibility of up to two renewal years. Total funding of up to $865,000 is available for allocation and the Board expects to award multiple contracts.
A mandatory bidder’s conference will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. in the Health and Human Services Building, Room 203 B/C, 855 S. Dubuque Street, or via Zoom https://us02web.zoom.us/j/8727860485 . Proposals must be received by 4 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2022.
