Johnson County is accepting applications from established nonprofit organizations for Social Services Block Grant funding for the fiscal year 2028-29 two-year funding cycle.

Johnson County is collaborating with United Way of Johnson and Washington Counties and the cities of Iowa City, Coralville and North Liberty on the joint funding application process.

The grant awards are intended to support established nonprofit organizations that provide services to Johnson County residents that improve quality of life by addressing basic human and emergency needs, health, and child and family well-being.

Application information, including the instruction guide and a link to log in or create a new account, is available through the eCImpact login portal at https://agency.e-cimpact.com/login.aspx?org=17300U. Submit all grant applications electronically through the portal by 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19, 2026. Late applications will not be accepted.
