Additionally, the Board of Supervisors Office will move to a temporary location on the second floor of the HHS Building on Monday, Oct. 23.

The Board typically holds work sessions every Wednesday at 9 a.m., and formal meetings every Thursday at 9 a.m., with the exception of the second Thursday of each month, when the formal meeting starts at 5:30 p.m.

Funding for the remodel project will be sourced through a combination of general funds and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) federal funds, with a firm commitment that taxes will not be raised to finance the remodel.

Johnson County remains committed to delivering high-quality services while creating a safer, more accessible, and productive environment for all residents and staff. The County anticipates completion of the project in the summer of 2024 and looks forward to welcoming the community back to an improved Administration Building.
