Due to blizzard conditions expected tonight through tomorrow morning, Johnson County Secondary Roads will be removing snow removal equipment at 6 p.m. today, Friday, Jan. 12. Crews will resume normal operations early Saturday morning.

Visibility is expected to diminish greatly this evening as winds increase causing potential whiteout conditions, as well as blowing and drifting snow. Residents are asked to stay at home through these dangerous weather conditions.

Johnson County Secondary Roads will have an in-house crew on call for support of emergency services  throughout the night to assist with 911 calls and life-threatening calls for service only.
