The Johnson County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications for Fiscal Year 2025 Economic Development and Quality of Life Grants from March 18 through April 22, 2024.
Each year through the budgeting process, the Board of Supervisors allocates funds to promote economic development in Johnson County and enhance the quality of life for its residents. For Fiscal Year 2024 (July 1, 2024−June 30, 2025), the Board allocated $300,000 total for both grant opportunities.
This year, Economic Development grants provide operational support for organizations that promote three priority areas: equity, local entrepreneurship, and measurable impacts. Quality of Life grants can do two things: provide operational support for organizations with sustainability and conservation at the core of their organizational mission or provide programming support for organizations undertaking programs that promote sustainability and conservation. Proposals requesting construction, capital, or other infrastructure expenses will not be supported.
Eligible organizations must operate primarily in Johnson County and have 501(c)3 or 501(c)6 tax status.
Interested applicants are invited to join an informational webinar at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2024. The webinar will be recorded and made available to anyone unable to attend. Applications are available using Johnson County’s online grant portal.
