Based on recommendations from the Johnson County Public Health Department (JCPH), the Johnson County Board of Supervisors voted on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021, to extend the requirement for all people – visitors and employees – to wear face coverings that cover both nose and mouth completely while inside Johnson County facilities, regardless of COVID-19 vaccination status.

The face covering mandate is effective through Thursday, Jan. 15, 2022, and is subject to change, pending guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and JCPH.
