Johnson County is accepting applications for Social Services Emergency Grant and Poverty Reduction Initiative grants. The County may award up to $130,000 in funding to non-profit, charitable organizations that provide services to Johnson County residents. 

The funding will assist organizations in responding to short-term or one-time emergency needs and support programs and strategies that help lift households out of poverty. Funding must be utilized to support innovative new programming, build capacity, sustain existing essential services and/or purchase essential equipment and supplies. 

If awarded, grant money must be expended between Dec. 1, 2022 and June 30, 2023.
