FY27 Request for Proposals is Open May 6, 2026 – May 27, 2026
The Johnson County FY27 Quality of Life Grant Program supports projects that enhance community life, foster connection, and improve shared experiences across Johnson County.
Grants are intended to support programmatic activities only and must provide a clear public benefit. Competitive proposals will demonstrate how they strengthen community connection, expand access to activities or shared spaces, and contribute to the overall quality of life for residents. All projects must be open and accessible to the public and aligned with the program’s funding priorities.
Fiscal Year 2027 Grant Cycle
The FY27 Quality of Life Grants cycle will run July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Grants will be awarded per the timeline below (subject to change):

Applications will be open from May 6 through May 27, 2026 at 4pm. Click here to apply.
- Tiered Funding
Funding is available through two tiers:
• Tier 1: Community Event Sponsorships — awards from $1,000 to $4,999 to support community events and activities that bring people together
• Tier 2: Community Program Grants — awards from $5,000 to $30,000 to support larger programmatic initiatives that provide ongoing or broader community benefit.- Eligibility
- City or township governments
- Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status (excludes institutions of higher education)
- Applicants such as volunteer-run organizations without nonprofit status are encouraged to collaborate with an eligible fiscal agent to facilitate their application
- Restrictions
- No operating costs
- No capital expenses
- No indirect
- Cannot be used for fundraising events

A: Previous years' Economic Development & Quality of Life grant programs are encompassed under the Quality of Life program umbrella for FY27.
Q: Are partnerships or fiscal sponsorships required or are stand-alone organizations welcome to apply?
A: Stand-alone organizations are welcome to apply.
Q: I need to upload more attachments to my application, but I've already used all the available upload slots.
A: You are welcome to combine similar files into a single PDF (e.g., all Letters of Support can be uploaded as a single file).
Q: The Euna Grants login info I've used in the past doesn't work. What gives?
A: We have begun transitioning to Euna Grants Powered by Amplifund, which is essentially a brand new platform for Johnson County, so all previous-year applicants will need to register for a new account.- Webinar

FY26 Final Reports are due Friday, July 31, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Grantees must download the pdf report form for their grant program (available soon), fill it out, and submit their reports on the eCivis grant portal as an Activity Report.
