2026 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program Update

The Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program will officially start on June 1, 2026. This program provides $50 in vouchers to use at approved vendors at any approved Farmer’s Market in the State of Iowa to individuals that meet the qualifications. Heritage Area Agency on Aging will be mailing applications out mid-May to all consumers that received Farmers Market voucher last year. These applications will be mailed to the address supplied on last year’s application.

If you have moved or did not receive the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program checks last year and would like an application mailed to you, please contact Tim Getty at the Heritage Area Agency on Aging at 319-398-7676. Please leave a voicemail clearly stating your name, address, telephone number and he will mail out an application for the program.

Please note: Due to a reduction in available vouchers, all distributions for 2026 will be managed by Heritage Area Agency on Aging like last year.
