Dates and Deadlines
- Monday, August 21: Early voting begins, 7:45 AM, Auditor's Office
- Friday, September 1: Voter pre-registration deadline, 5 PM. Election day registration available after this date with ID and proof of address
- Monday, September 4: Labor Day, office closed
- Friday, September 8: Last day to request mailed ballot, 5 PM. (Note: Earlier deadline under new law does not take effect until January 1, 2018)
- Saturday, September 9: Early voting at Auditor's Office, 8 AM to noon
- Sunday, September 10: Early voting at Auditor's Office, noon to 5 PM
- Monday, September 11: Last day for in-person early voting at Auditor's Office
- Tuesday, September 12: Election Day. Pools open 7 AM to 8 PM. Vote at school polling places. For most voters this will be different than your regular polling place

Note: ID not yet required except for voters registering or changing address on Election Day, or voters on Inactive status.
(This election was the last regularly scheduled September school board election. Beginning in 2019, the school election will be combined with the city election in November of odd years, and voters will go to their regular precincts).
