Johnson County is accepting applications for the Quality of Life Grant Program from May 6 through 4 p.m. on May 27, 2026. This program supports projects that enhance community life, foster connection, and improve shared experiences across Johnson County.
Eligible applicants include:
- 501(c)(3) nonprofit or charitable organizations serving Johnson County residents
- City or township governments within Johnson County
Competitive applications will demonstrate how they strengthen community connection, expand access to activities or shared spaces, and contribute to the overall quality of life for residents. All projects must be open and accessible to the public.
Funding is available through Community Event Sponsorships or Community Program Grants.
Community Event Sponsorships will support community events and activities that bring people together. Awards will range from $1,000 to $4,999.
Community Program Grants will support larger programmatic initiatives that provide ongoing or broader community benefit. Awards will range from $5,000 to $30,000.
