In accordance with the Johnson County Ordinance Reviewing Liquor License, Beer Permit, and Wine Permit Applications, and in conjunction with the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division (ABD), the Auditor processes license applications for the sale and consumption of alcohol at all Johnson County, Iowa premises located outside any city limits. Once received, the license must be posted at the premises in full public view.
The Auditor also processes permit applications for retail sales of any cigarette, tobacco, nicotine, and vapor products in Johnson County, Iowa establishments located outside of city limits.
