Organic Greens LLC

Message from the owner, James Nisly: "My name is James Nisly. I operate Organic Greens and I am posting this because I am seeking employees to join my business and my community of Kalona in SE IA.

As background, my core belief is that truly healthy food is the basis of healthy communities. My vision is to replace the ‘highly processed, low nutritional value’ standard American diet with one rich in nutrition and flavor while connecting customers with where their food comes from. To realize this vision, I started 24 years ago with certified organic microgreens.  Over time I added field crops and a food hub business that combines my crops with those of other local Amish growers for 40+ wholesale customers in SE and Central Iowa.

The business is well-established and poised for growth, and so I write to seek people who may be interested in joining my business and my community of Kalona. Roles are varied, such as Field Crop Manager, Delivery Driver, Inventory/Fulfillment Manager, and Microgreen Support Staff. If this opportunity sounds like something you would like to explore, please use this url link to a short assessment form:  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/OrganicGreens. It includes descriptions of the different roles for which I am seeking help.

Thank you. I can be reached at [email protected] if you have any questions."
