The Johnson County Board of Supervisors Office will be moving to the third floor of the Health & Human Services Building (HHS Building), 855 S. Dubuque St., Iowa City.

Johnson County Conservation Board selects Brad Freidhof as Conservation Director
The Johnson County Conservation Board selects Brad Freidhof as the Conservation Executive Director. Freidhof will succeed Larry Gullett who passed away on Sept. 6, 2024, following a courageous battle with cancer. Gullett served as the Johnson County Conservation Executive Director for 11 years.
Second installment of property taxes due, late payment penalties begin April 1, 2025
Johnson County property owners are reminded that the second installment of property and mobile home taxes is due Saturday, March 1, 2025. Payments need to be delivered to the Treasurer’s Office, paid online or postmarked by Monday, March 31, 2025, to avoid a 1 ½ percent monthly penalty that will begin on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
In-person payments must be made at the Treasurer’s Office, located at the Johnson County Administration Building at 913 S. Dubuque St. in Iowa City. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
