Johnson County Board of Supervisors Chairperson Jon Green, noting hateful responses to the Board of Supervisors’ World Hijab Day proclamation on the County Facebook page, rejects intolerance and hate speech and releases the following statement.
The Johnson County Board of Supervisors weekly formal meeting, originally scheduled for 5:30 p.m., is rescheduled to 9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026.
Board of Supervisors meetings are held in the Boardroom, Room 301 of the Johnson County Health & Human Services Building, 855 S Dubuque St, Iowa City. Meeting dates, agendas and previous meeting recordings can be accessed at https://bit.ly/jocomeeting.
