Temporary Emergency Assistanace provides short-term financial assistance to eligible Veterans and their dependents for rent, utilities, food, fuel, and funeral expenses. 

An initial assessment will be done over the phone or via email. and an in-person office visit will be scheduled accordingly. 

Your household income must be under 185% of the Federal Poverty Level to qualify for Temporary Emergency Assistance.

The required documents below must be printed out and brought with you to the appointment, or they may be emailed/faxed prior to the appointment. Print screens are not acceptable. 

  • DD-214 discharge papers -  Mandatory for all programs (we can assist obtaining or ordering these for you)
  • All bank account statements for all of the household members over 18
  • Current lease agreement signed by both parties or utility bill in the applicant's name (If applicable)
