Johnson County Public Health (JCPH) will expand its capacity to help those in the community who are most in need by hiring two additional community health nurses. The expansion is a result of Johnson County’s investment of funds received from the federal government through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

Johnson County property owners are reminded that the second installment of property and mobile home taxes were due on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Payments need to be delivered to the Treasurer’s Office, paid online, or postmarked by Thursday, March 31, 2022, to avoid a 1 ½ percent monthly penalty that will begin on Friday, April 1, 2022.
In-person payments must be made at the Johnson County Treasurer’s Office in the Johnson County Administration Building, located at 913 S. Dubuque Street in Iowa City, Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
