The Board of Supervisors weekly formal meeting, originally scheduled for Thursday, July 4, 2024, is rescheduled to 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. There will be no work session on Wednesday, July 3.
Johnson County announces the early opening of F20 (Amana Road NW) over Swisher Creek to all traffic. This includes the intersection with Cou Falls and Amana Road. Workers may still be present performing erosion control on the roadsides and ditches until permanent cover is established over the next month.

Ambulance: Johnson County Ambulance Service (JCAS) will be available for routine and emergency response. The JCAS billing and administrative offices will be closed. Emergency services remain available 365 days a year. In an emergency, residents should always dial 911.

A new Johnson County program will help homeowners in unincorporated Johnson County add pocket prairies to their landscapes. Eligible homeowners can apply online beginning July 1.
The program is a collaboration between Johnson County and Master Gardeners of Johnson County. The program provides participants with training, technical guidance and enough pollinator plants to establish a 10’ by 10’ pollinator garden.
