Due to impending weather conditions, and the National Weather Services’ winter storm warning that includes the Johnson County area, Johnson County governmental buildings will be closed until noon on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2025. As of now, the Johnson County Courthouse will remain open.
The Board of Supervisors will still hold its regular work session at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12. The meeting will be lived streamed via the Johnson County website and Zoom.

The Johnson County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications for Juvenile Justice and Youth Development programming for the FY26 to FY28 grant cycle. Up to $350,000 will be awarded to nonprofit organizations providing evidence-based, trauma-informed, culturally responsive youth development and delinquency prevention services to Johnson County youth 10 to 16 years of age.

Ambulance: Johnson County Ambulance Service (JCAS) will be available for routine and emergency response. The JCAS billing and administrative offices will be closed. Emergency services remain available 365 days a year. In an emergency, residents should always dial 911.
