The Johnson County Secondary Roads Department announces that the road work on 540th Street between Hwy 1 and Gable Avenue in Sharon Township is substantially complete, and the road is open to traffic.
The contractor will continue to perform seeding, finishing, and other punch-list work over the next several weeks, so please anticipate some daytime lane or shoulder closures as you travel through the work zone and drive defensively.

Due to high water, the Johnson County Secondary Road Department closed a portion of Sandy Beach Road NE today, May 29th, 2024. Road Closure signs are posted at the intersection of Lake Manor Rd & Sandy Beach Road NE and the intersection of Naples Avenue NE & 140th Street advising motorists the roadway ahead is closed to traffic.
