Purpose of the Harm Reduction Kits:
If you are using needles, we encourage you to properly dispose of your needles after single use utilizing a sharps container provided in the lockbox for free. The harm reduction kit contains bottles of bleach and sterilization instructions if you are in a position where single use needles and syringes is not feasible. Once your sharps containers is full feel free to dispose of the container by placing it in the red sharps disposal unit next to the lockbox.
Sharps Disposal:
Used needles and syringes should be thrown away utilizing sharps containers, which are provided for free in the lockbox. Please take a small black sharps disposal container to use. We encourage individuals who do not have a sharps container on hand to reuse common hard containers such as laundry detergent bottles, tins, or other common thick disposable containers with lids when disposing of needles. Please dispose of full containers by utilizing the red sharps disposal unit next to the lockbox.
