The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office provides child passenger seat education with a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) when requested.  Parents and caregivers can benefit from learning how to safely install their child’s seat and how to properly use it to keep your child safe.  This is a free service and can be conducted on any child safety seat.  A certified technician will meet you at your preferred location, which could be your home, a local fire station, or the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.  We ask you bring your vehicle, your safety seat, and if possible your child.
