Paper Service

Advanced deposit of $60.00 is required before service will be attempted when the plaintiff is not an attorney or a business within the State of Iowa.

Advanced deposit of $60.00 is required on all Forcible Entry and Detainer actions in order for the return to be processed in time for the hearing.

Cash (exact change) or personal checks made payable to Johnson County Sheriff are accepted. We require one copy of the paper to be served for the return as well as one copy for each defendant to be served.
