Weather permitting, Half Moon Avenue, south of Highway 6 between Copi Road NW and the Iowa Interstate Railroad, will be closed to traffic beginning Monday, May 5, 2025, for construction. Construction will include the replacement of a culvert under Half Moon Avenue NW and the installation of the Clear Creek Trail crossing.  Access to Copi Road NW will be maintained throughout the week. The public is requested to use Half Moon Avenue SW and 340^th Street SW for access to properties south of the construction area.

Conservation Board April 29, 2025 special meeting agenda

Beginning Wednesday, April 30, 2025, the Board of Supervisors meetings will be in room 301, on the third floor of the Health & Human Services building (HHS building), 855 S. Dubuque St., Iowa City.

Public parking will be available on the north side of the HHS building. Visitors can enter the building through the entrance near the flagpole and take the elevator or stairs to the third floor to the boardroom.

The Johnson County Decategorization Board seeks qualified organizations to provide positive youth development services for youth ages 6-16 and/or parenting support services for families at risk of involvement with the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services.

People 14 years old and older can sign up for the Heartsaver CPR/AED classes.
