Johnson County’s F.W. Kent Park is undergoing several enhancements to its campground to improve water quality as a result of Johnson County’s investment of funds received from the federal government through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
Johnson County property owners are reminded that the second installment of property and mobile home taxes are due Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Payments need to be delivered to the Treasurer’s Office, paid online or postmarked by Thursday, March 31, 2022, to avoid a 1 ½ percent monthly penalty that will begin on Friday, April 1, 2022.

The Johnson County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications for Juvenile Justice and Youth Development (JJYD) programming for the FY23 – FY25 grant cycle. Up to $400,000 will be awarded to non-profit organizations providing evidence-based, trauma-informed, culturally-responsive youth development and delinquency prevention services to Johnson County youth 10-16 years of age.
