The Johnson County Recorder’s Office will be moving to the Health & Human Services Building (HHS Building), 855 S. Dubuque St., Iowa City, while construction takes place in the Administration Building, 913 S. Dubuque St., Iowa City.
Detailed schedule changes include:
Recorder’s Office: The Recorder’s Office will be closed to the public starting at noon on Friday, Oct. 27, and will reopen in its new location on the third floor of the HHS Building on Monday, Oct. 30.

Public invited to take survey on Johnson County Comprehensive Plan priorities
Members of the public are invited to take an online survey seeking input on priorities and key issues for the Johnson County 2018 Comprehensive Plan update. The survey is available in four languages (Arabic, English, French and Spanish) at www.johnsoncountyiowa.gov/comp-plan-update-2023. Board of Supervisors meetings moving to Health & Human Services Building on Oct. 25
Starting Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, the Board of Supervisors meetings will be held in conference room 203 C on the second floor of the Health & Human Services building (HHS building), 855 S. Dubuque St., Iowa City, while construction takes place in the Administration Building, 913 S. Dubuque St., Iowa City.
Public parking for the HHS building will be available on the north side of the HHS building. Visitors can enter through the entrance near the flagpole and take the elevator or stairs to the second floor to the conference room.
