Due to the RAGBRAI route on Melrose Avenue West and traffic concerns, Johnson County Secondary Roads Department at 4810 Melrose Avenue in Iowa City will be closed on Friday, July 28, 2023.
Individuals with non-emergency questions or concerns may leave a message with Secondary Roads at 319-356-6046. Calls to Secondary Roads will not receive a response until Monday, July 31. In an emergency, residents should always dial 911.

The Johnson County Board of Supervisors, Attorney, Auditor, Treasurer and Sheriff will hold listening posts during the 2023 Johnson County Fair, which takes place Sunday, July 23 to Wednesday, July 26.
The listening posts will take place in Building B, space 21, on the Johnson County Fairgrounds, 3109 Old Hwy 218 S., Iowa City. Community members are encouraged to stop by and meet with Board members and Elected Officials to discuss any Johnson County-related topic. No formal agenda or presentation is planned.
